Lockdown has come and gone and a lot of interesting things occured.
Mick Foley winning the TNA title was a big surprise to me, but it makes sense in the grander scheme of things. When Jeff Jarrett eventually turns heel and joins the Main Event Mafia, he will probably feud with Foley over the title and control of TNA.
The debut of former WWE wrestler Bobby Lashley was also a surprise to me. TNA was promoting that a former world champion from WWE would debut at Lockdown. Many speculated that it would be Tazz, but it was a total shock when it was revealed as Lashley. Lashley's interference in the Lethal Lockdown match and his supposed alliance with the mafia should help to boost the feud between the mafia and the front line.
The shocks keep on coming as I was surprised that Team 3D won the title for title tag team match against Beer Money as I think Robert Roode and James Storm would benefit more from a win than 3D. I expect Beer Money to regain the titles very soon for the reasons I just explained.
Other winners from Lockdown include Angelina Love winning the Knockouts title, Suicide retaining the X Division title and the Motor City Machineguns retaining the IWGP Junior Tag Team titles.
Eric Young, ODB and Matt Morgan were also winners.
Next up for TNA is their May pay per view, Sacrifice.

TNA Lockdown 2009 Predictions

TNA's April pay per view invades Philadelphia tomorrow night with some very interesting matches.
Topping the card is the TNA Heavyweight Championship match between Sting and Mick Foley. It has been over 15 years since these two last squared off and it's a match I've been looking forward to for a long time. Mick's promo on Impact this week where he morphed between the lovable oaf Mick Foley and the deranged Cactus Jack shows me that he still has it. I think Sting will retain but it will be one helluva main event.
The Lethal Lockdown match between the Main Event Mafia (MEM) and Team Jarrett should also be interesting because of the possibility of Jeff Jarrett joining the mafia. That aside, I'm happy to finally see Christopher Daniels back in TNA where he isn't wrestling under a mask (hello Curry Man and Suicide). He should've been a part of the Front Line when the angle started back in October, but considering how the mafia literally won almost every encounter between the two stables, it's probably best he didn't come back till now. I expect Team Jarrett to win but the dissension between Jarrett and the Front Line will continue.
The title-for-title tag team Philadelphia Street Fight between Beer Money and Team 3D is another match that should be very good. I've liked how they've built this feud on respect and how Beer Money is trying to earn it by defeating the legendary Dudleys. I think Beer Money will win and be crowned the TNA and IWGP tag team champs.
The Xscape match for the X Division title should also be fun because the X Division wrestlers always give it their all. Suicide still hasn't gotten over with the fans so I expect him to retain.
Here's who I'm picking in the other matches:
Matt Morgan over Abyss (Doomsday Chamber of Blood match)
Awesome Kong over Angelina Love and Taylor Wilde (Knockouts title match)
Daffney over ODB, Madison Rayne and Sojourner Bolt (Queen of the Cage match)
No Limit over LAX and the Motor City Machineguns (IWGP Junior Tag Team title match)
Former Partridge Family star Danny Bonaduce over Eric Young (Preview show)
